Migraine Causes and Treatment

Pain that makes it impossible to complete daily work may weaken your body and yourself. According to the Migraine Research Foundation, migraine is ranked in the top 20 of the world's most devastating diseases. "Migraine is estimated to be affected by 7 million women and 6 million men in the U.S. and is estimated to cost $ 5-17.2 billion per year" (Kinart, Cuppett, & Berg, 2002 ). Due to the chemical differences of all of us, many doctors are unable to pinpoint the cause of migraine of a particular individual, but they are already making some facts that will help some people.

Treatment with Dean Watson is not suitable for all people with migraine. There are some points to be aware of. The most important thing is whether migraine headaches on one side of the head (although it is possible for both sides to be interchangeable, most people experience it on the same side). The reason this type of patient may struggle more often than usual is that they do not matter if they change their way of life, diet, hormones, or take contraceptives. The cause of migraine still exists and the underlying cause (sensitized brainstem) has not been resolved. Patients of this type may say that they have tried everything but they are ineffective. But they may find effective prescription drugs like Tilgran. That is because imigran makes the brainstem insensitive, but that is temporary.

Concern about drug treatment for chronic migraine is development of headache abuse. This happens when migraine patients use migraine medication too frequently and have secondary headaches for drug use (Schwedt, 2014). Treatment involves a drug withdrawal phase during which patients must take a migraine medication or take a medication with a different mechanism of action (Schwedt, 2014). Patients with chronic migraine often rely on medicine to relieve pain, so this reaction is contradictory, but if you drink too much you actually make your pain worse. Approximately half of patients with chronic migraine suffer from overdose for treatment at some point (Schwedt, 2014)
